MD TARIK ABDULLAH

MD Tarik Abdullah serves as a consultant at Faiz Foundation, bringing over 12 years of experience in strategic planning, project management, and nonprofit operations. Tarik has played a key role in supporting organizations to achieve sustainable growth and operational excellence. His background spans a variety of sectors, including real estate, asset management, and sustainable development, where he has consistently applied his expertise to foster positive, community-driven outcomes.

Tarik began his career as a Management Trainee Officer at OTOBI Limited and later held leadership positions in organizations such as Duncan Brothers and Bestway Group. Now at Faiz Foundation, his work focuses on project development, fundraising initiatives, and building strategic partnerships to further the foundation’s mission.

His expertise includes financial oversight, sustainability practices, and resource management. Tarik is skilled in negotiating partnerships, managing projects, and promoting environmentally responsible practices. He holds an MBA from the University of Dhaka, specializing in Marketing, and has experience working internationally in the USA, China, Singapore, Malaysia, and other countries.

Deeply committed to creating a lasting impact, Tarik is dedicated to helping Faiz Foundation implement innovative, sustainable solutions to serve communities effectively and achieve the organization’s long-term goals.

After receiving MBA, major in Marketing from Dhaka University, Tarik had worked for different organizations in various  significant positions like Marketing Executive-Otobi, Assistant Manager- Nalua Tea Estate (Duncan Brothers), Head of Operations- Bestway Group and Chief Operating Officer in BOCL.

From childhood Tarik was keen to social works and took part into various activities while on natural disaster of the country. He sees Faiz Foundation as a true platform to serve the nation, giving factual support to the start-ups. Moreover, he is a partner of two other enterprises are Nalua Tradecom and Happy Future.

He loves to travel (visited USA, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailandand India),to read books and to watch cricket. He is married and father of a son.
